IP Phone: is an advanced telephone that uses voice over IP (VoIP) technology to allow telephone calls to be made over an IP network.

IP WiFi wireless Phone: is by using KSAU-HS Wireless Network to send and receive VoIP Calls with Wireless

IP telephone devices provided by Communications Department have multiple features such as: display menu, Phone Book, WAP browser, Logged Calls information and more.

How to Request for Telecommunications devices:

A request for Phones must be requested through a memorandum signed by the department head and send to Corporate Communications Department. Approval of the Department Head, Corporate Communications Department (or designee in the regions) must be obtained.

Policy Applied for Telecommunications devices:

If any telecommunications device is misplaced, lost or damaged, the end user must inform Corporate Communications immediately in order for the unit to be suspended from the service.

Departing employees undergoing clearance must return the communication equipment/device under their custody to Corporate Communications in a good working condition.

The telephone set device received by the end user should confirm to the Telephone Units Distribution Policy of Corporate Communications KSAU-HS.
